When you think of Griffith Park, what do you think of first? The observatory? Famous film location? The zoo? The Greek Theatre? L.A. Equestrian Center? Well, now you can add to that the latest United States Youth Volleyball League (USYVL) site.

The largest municipal park in the Unites States with urban wilderness, Griffith Park has been the site of many movies (think the classic Rebel Without a Cause), TV shows and commercials. Sometimes, it is referred to as the Los Angeles’ Central Park. However, at 4,310 acres, it is actually much larger than Central Park.

Taking place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from April 2 through May 31, the USYVL spring season in Griffith Park will give families in the Los Feliz area with children ages 7 to 15 easy access to a program. Registration is now available at the Los Feliz site at a special early registration rate of $130 per child. Multi-child discounts are available.  The registration fee goes to $150 on March 1, 2014. See you in the park!
