As another successful spring season winds down for the United States Youth Volleyball League (USYVL), a big “thank you” is due to the many volunteers who made it happen for the kids. The volunteer crew is essential to the success of the league, keeping the league affordable while, at the same time, offering a family atmosphere, since so many family members are involved. We’re grateful for the time donated by each and every volunteer this past season. Your efforts created a terrific experience for the children participating in USYVL.

If you haven’t volunteered in the past, and have a child participating in the future, you are certainly encouraged to volunteer. The guidelines to volunteer are available on the USYVL website.

In addition to donating time, monetary donations derived from the charity and goodwill of many individual donors, along with corporate sponsors, assist the USYVL in achieving its mission to provide every child an opportunity to learn the sport of volleyball in a fun, safe, and supervised environment. Donations improve opportunities for children in the league in two ways. First, children with a desire to play in the league, but are faced with verified financial need, are offered assistance. Since the inception of the league, thanks to donations, no child has ever been turned down from participating in the league based on financial circumstances. Second, donations fund important USYVL education and training programs, which benefit all children involved with USYVL.

If you are in a position to be able to make a monetary donation, we encourage you to join our board members in donating $25, $50, $100, or any amount you can comfortably give to USYVL. Each donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference!

The opportunities for health, fitness, self-esteem building and, of course, learning the skills of volleyball, offered through the USYVL continue. Thank you for being part of it.
